MS SQL Server 2000 on Windows 2003 SP1: SP3a or SP4?
Hi,
I want to run MS SQL Server 2000 on Windows Server 2003 SP1. Would SP3a be just fine for SQL Server or should I apply SP4, which is not yet tested with the application, and why? Are there any differences between installing SQL Server 2000 on Windows 2000 Server SP4 and Windows Server 2003 SP1 and what are they, if any? -- Many thanks, Osk At a minimum you need 3a. You might want to consider SP4. Make sure that
you take a look at the following pages so that you have the information that you need to make your own determination: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2000/sp4.asp http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2000/sp3.asp -- Show quoteHide quoteKeith "Oskar" <Os***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:BD8FF29E-57A3-4A04-9BF0-6698EF153DE3@microsoft.com... > Hi, > I want to run MS SQL Server 2000 on Windows Server 2003 SP1.
