SQL Mail Outlook Hangs

Hi

I have configured SQL Mail on my Server, everything was working fine,
but all of a sudden, its stopped , I am damn sure there is something
wrong with the Microsoft Outlook , cause when I try out sending a mail
from the profile that has been configured to SQL mail , as soon as I
press the Send button the Outlook hangs , it does not perform any
operation

Please help;

1.Have you checked all the various points that could go wrong on Outlook.
e.g connecting to smtp, network connection.
2. Are you saying that you've opened the Outlook client , tried to send and
it hangs?

Yess, its just does nothing then ..... have checked up the other things
like pinging the pop.mail.com & stuff but still there seems to be no
response.
