Can you share SQL Server registration across different machines?I have set up several sql server registartion in one of ours servers.
On this server I have the Read/Store User Independent unchecked on the options screen in EM. Now from my computer in my EM option screen I have "read from remote checked" and I have the server name edit box filled in with the name of the server. But in my computer I am unable to see the server registration it shows all the server groups correctly but it is not able to read the server registartion. What am I doing wrong? Is it possible to share registration in SQL server 2000? I have read some more articles in google with similar problems but no solution. Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Seems to be this bug, which doesn't seem to have a resolution:
