You need to do the basic admin stuff
like reviewing error logs and event logs. You need to monitor security to detect unauthorized access or operations. You need to ensure that the databases are backed up, backups tested, and you have a recovery plan in place. You need to monitoring performance and fix any issues related to performance, blocking, and deadlocking. There's no simple way to spell all of this out. There have been 800 page books written on this topic that barely scratched the surface. -- Show quoteHide quoteMike http://www.solidqualitylearning.com Disclaimer: This communication is an original work and represents my sole views on the subject.
