SQL Server 2005 and VS2005
Hello everybody
I have just installed VS2005. Everything went well. But It seems that with VS2005 I got SQL Server 2005 , I think Mobile Edition fix me if it isn't. Now , I am going to install SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition on my workstation so the question is should I remove SQL Server 2005 first OR Mobile Edition ( shiped will VS2005) will be overwritten by Developer Edition? Thanks Hi,
Part of the default install of VS2005 is an install of SQL Server Express edition. For development, the developer edition is a better option anyway. I'd suggest removing the Express edition and installing the Developer one. Thanks again , It was my mistake, sorry . Can you tell me please how can I explore the databasess in SQL Server Express? I found no way to see the databasess and make some queries. Do I need to install something else? I'd like to see the query builder and restore one dummy database .
