The SQL element of Veritas BackupExec 9I have several servers on which I use Veritas BackupExec 9.1 for tape back
ups. When I run the MS Baseline Security Advisor it identifies SQL Server 2000 SP3 installed and recommends SP4. Now it is not a full-blown install of SQL 2000 so SP4 won't apply. Any ideas? should I not bother or is there a way to update the SQL element of BackupExec at all? cheers My guess is that Veritas installed MSDE. I'd verify with them, and ask them how to upgrade. Again,
my guess is that you need to apply sp4 *for MSDE*. -- Show quoteTibor Karaszi, SQL Server MVP http://www.karaszi.com/sqlserver/default.asp http://www.solidqualitylearning.com/ "Maurice" <Maur***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:8D4DF5BA-103D-4C27-839D-68FB1C688675@microsoft.com... >I have several servers on which I use Veritas BackupExec 9.1 for tape back > ups.
